Unmatched Spirit

"Johnny Spirit" is a Michigan State University super-fan. Spirit has made himself into a legend since he began attending every home football game covered in green and white body paint. Since Spirit is not an official MSU mascot, he pays to get into the games just like everybody else. "I'm just out there having fun and spreading spirit," he said. "No matter what the outcome of the game is, I'm here to show people that Spartans are always winners." Although he graduated last year, Spirit vows he will never miss a home game. Spirit prefers to keep his real name anonymous.
